Reference: Late return for swimming

3^rd July – 7^th July Mrs Yates’ Class will attend 2:30 – 3:15pm session and will return to school for 3:40/3:45pm.

10^th July – 14^th July Mr Postgate’s Class will attend 2:30 – 3:15pm session and will return to school for 3:40/3:45pm.

Please give consent for your children to walk home at this later time or advise us that your child will be picked up by a known adult to school.

Re: Swimming Sessions – Year 5 Mrs Yates and Mr Postgate’s class

As part of our P.E. Curriculum, we have been given our allocation for swimming sessions this year at the Rainbow Leisure Centre.  Your child’s class rota is below:

  Monday 3^rd July – Friday 14th 2023 (afternoon session).

Afternoon sessions times are 1:45pm – 2:30pm and 2:30pm – 3:15pm. This will mean a late return to school for 3:40/3:45pm. Your child will go swimming for 2 weeks but we will alternate which class attends the late session.

You will be sent a link on Dojo to give consent whether you wish your child to walk home from school at 3:45pm or if they will be collected by a known adult to school. 

Your child will need an appropriate swimming costume / trunks, towel, and a brush/comb.  Please can you ensure these are washed, dried and brought in every day.  Long hair must be tied back. Goggles may be worn; please ask for an additional consent slip.

Please note: Toiletries and / or money should not be sent. NO jewellery is allowed in line with School and the Rainbow Leisure Centre Policy; ensure all earrings are removed and left at home.
